About the role
One Next.js application, one Postgres database, and a great deal of it that moves money. You will work across the whole of it — marketplace, compliance, payouts, the admin console — on a small team where the person who writes something is the person who supports it.
What you will do
Build and ship features end to end: schema, server, interface. Write migrations that are safe to apply to a live database. Work with Stripe Connect, webhooks and escrow — manual capture, refunds, and the failure cases that only appear in production. Fix what breaks, including the parts you did not write. Review other people's work properly.
What we are looking for
Three or more years building production web applications with TypeScript and React. Real SQL — schema design, indexes, and why a query is slow. Experience with row-level security, or the interest to learn why it matters here. Have shipped something that handled other people's money and can talk about what went wrong.
