About the role
NIL rules differ by state, by governing body, and by whether the athlete is a minor. This role is why institutions trust the platform: keeping the rulebook current, answering the questions sales and talent success cannot, and making sure what the product tells somebody is actually right.
What you will do
Maintain the state rule set and the legislative tracker — fifty states plus federal, refreshed on a schedule rather than when somebody notices. Review disclosures and flag what needs filing. Be the escalation for compliance questions from institutions, talent and staff. Work with product so the rules live in the platform rather than in your head. Write the guidance that goes in the resource library.
What we are looking for
Experience in athletics compliance, sports law, regulatory affairs or a paralegal role. Able to read a statute and say what it means for a specific deal. Comfortable saying "no, and here is what you can do instead". A JD, a compliance certification or NCAA compliance office experience is an advantage rather than a requirement.
