What are the power conferences?
In the House settlement, the power conferences are the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC: they were the defendant conferences, their schools take part in revenue sharing, and their schools' average revenue sets the cap.

In detail
The revenue sharing cap is 22% of the average revenue of these conferences' schools from media rights, ticket sales and sponsorships. Division I schools in other conferences may opt in each year. After the Pac-12 lost most of its members in 2024, the remaining four are often called the Power Four.
