In detail

The athlete must start it within 14 days of the decision by uploading the Form Demand for Arbitration in NIL Go. One neutral arbitrator, picked at random from a panel approved by class counsel and the defendants, decides, usually within about 45 days. The athlete pays no arbitration fees, any penalty is on hold meanwhile, and the decision is final and binding on both sides.

Frequently asked questions

Does arbitration cost the athlete anything?

No arbitration fees. An athlete who hires a lawyer pays the lawyer unless the school chooses to.
