IP Vault
Verify a file
Drop in a file to see whether its exact fingerprint matches an IP Vault record, and when it was recorded. The fingerprint is worked out on your device; the file is never uploaded.
Have a record code? Open nilinnovations.com/resources/verify/<code>. Every record is also in the public log once that log is published.
An IP Vault record is proof that you had this at a certain time: a fingerprint of the file or description, and the time we received it, kept in an append-only history.
It is not a trademark or copyright registration, and it does not by itself stop anyone from using what you recorded. Registration is how you get legal rights.
