In detail

Schools enter every institutional payment within five business days of final signature, track spending against the cap, and submit and certify rosters by the day before the first contest or December 1, whichever is earlier. CAPS does not process payments; it is the compliance record. It connects to the NCAA Eligibility Center database.

Frequently asked questions

Do athletes use CAPS?

No. CAPS is for schools. Athletes report third-party deals in NIL Go.
